Gesu’s Leadership Council performs the following functions:

1. Collaborates with the pastor to put the vision of the parish into practice and to establish the pastoral priorities of the parish.

2. Coordinates and assists the pastor in the implementation of the parish pastoral priorities.

3. Facilitates the participation of the whole parish community in its mission.

Although the Leadership Council does not manage parish operations, ministries, or dictate parish programming, it serves as an important support for the pastor in helping to form the vision of the parish and in suggesting ways in which the vision can be realized.
